Re-visiting observation/description activity

Lexis postcard was called birthday. The art that the person drew with the directions did not have much resemblance to the postcard. The two people were left out of the drawing along with most of the surroundings.

Giving Up Control:Pours

Today in art class, we mixed paint with water and poured it onto a large sheet of paper. The colors mixed together and formed interesting designs and nice colors. Then we moved the paper so that the colors would mix and the paint would spread. Alex was my partner and we created three papers with different colors and interesting designs.

Collaborative drawing

How did having someone else work on your drawing add to or take away from the final result?

Today in art, we were given some materials and a paper penguin. We were told to think of an idea and start making a picture out of it. Then, we switched drawings with people and they worked on the picture how they thought it should look. Then, people had to cover up what they didn't like that someone else had added. Having someone else work on my art made it have a different outcome then i thought it would. At the end, we tryed to correct it how we wanted it to look.

First Impressions: i love fashion! I think the dress is really interesting because it's old, but could still be worn to an event now.
