Artist- in- Residence : Alenander DeMaria

I looked around the webiste and when I looked at his drawings this one totaly stood out to me. The detail in it amazes me. To me this is a very detailed house but next to it I am not really sure what is next to it. At first I thought it was a giant person with shaggy hair. This fits into his art because his drawings all look somewhat alike they all have the same idea to me. And it looks like he dosnt use much color so it fits with the others. A quesiton that I would ask him is how does he come up with these pieces of art, what gives him the idea to draw things like this.

This piece of art caught my eyes right away. It is filled with so much color it is almost over whelming. This art clearly has many different shapes in it.

Ingrid is an artist who definetley has her own ideas about art. She used her own creativeness and puts emotions into it.

How se makes her paintings

Ingrid will find a shape of some sorts such as a spill of graffiti. She will then trace it one a transparent paper. She does this several times and lays the outlines on top of each other. She then starts to fill in some color.

What she makes the painting the way she does

She makes the paintings this way becasue its her way of being creative. She also puts emotions into her art.
